Vegetable Broth: List

VEGETABLE BROTH

  1. Toss left over vegetable and fruit remnants from juicing along with an onion, some garlic, and whatever herbs you have around in a pan and bring to a boil. Let simmer for 30 - 45 minutes.

  2. Strain and jar. Keeps in fridge for about 1 - 2 weeks.

When I started juicing, I always felt bad about all the vegetable and fruit remains that got tossed away.

After trying a couple different things, I found the scraps that remain after juicing are perfect for making homemade vegetable broth.

If time doesn't allow you to make the broth the same day or you don't have enough leftover from one juicing, stick what is left in the freezer.
