PIZZA FROM PLANTS

Lately, I have been really missing our weekly pizza night. Even while focusing on eating plant-based whole foods, you can still have your pizza (and eat it too).

For the crust:

  1. Mix equal parts chickpea flour and warm water.

  2. Add some freshly made sauce from your canned tomatoes OR use your favorite brand of tomato or pizza sauce.

  3. Add whatever toppings suit your appetite.

* I found that 1.5 cups chickpea flour / 1.5 cups warm water made the perfect size pizza for 2 people.

* There are lots of sauce and vegan cheese recipes that utilize only plant-based whole foods. Stay tuned, as I will be posting some of my favorites soon.
