PANCAKES

I have always loved pancakes but realized that one of my favorite breakfast foods wasn't exactly healthy. In fact, I didn't even know what was in the boxed pancakes that I ate growing up.

My new favorite recipe includes no flour, no sugar, no eggs, no milk but are even more delicious!

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 cups rolled oats

  • 3 tsp baking powder

  • 1 tbsp honey or 3 dates

  • 1 cup almond milk

  • 2 tsp apple cider vinegar

  • 1 tbsp flax seeds

  • 1/2 cup water (optional)

  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

To make, toss all the ingredients together, mix, and cook on a griddle. While still warm, throw on some almond butter instead of syrup and you have yourself a very tasty and healthy breakfast.
